Hello! We’re spotted that when adding a URL in the form, our customers have to add either http or https. Our users tend not to be overly-technical and usually don’t think to add this.

As a fix we’ve adjusted the validation text to flag that this is needed but we wondered if there was any way of adjusting the website URL field to accept URLs without the http/https?

    Many Thanks!

    Hi there,

Thank you for the suggestion, may be adding http or https:// by default in the part of webiste url would be helpful.

    Hi there,

Can I just check, do you mean adding http or https:// in the placeholder text? or are you meaning we can force https:// to be added by default to the website URL?

    Many Thanks!

    I have the same problem.
How to get rid of the http://?
    Just wwwDOTmywebsiteDOTcom should do.
While there is a Placeholder for the Website field, there seems to be no option set http:// as a default part of the website url.

    Please advice.
