    I can’t find an option to prevent the plugin from sending out a welcome email to new users. Is there a way to do this, or at the very least customize the content?

    In case it’s important, here’s why I need to do this:
    – My audience is a non-english speaking audience, and I’d like to keep things simple for them.
    – I already have my mailchimp set up to send a welcome email with the information they need, another one from the plugin is redundant.
    – The text in the welcome email asks my users to visit their “my account” page to edit their information, but they will not have access to that page.

    Hope to hear from you soon, since I love everything else about this plugin and my site is already live, but at the moment using an inferior registration plugin.

    Sincerely,
    TJ

    Hello torkelgutt,

    Good to hear you liked the plugin, we currently donot have the feature to customize the email. We’ll soon add the feature to disable email sending option. Stay tuned. Thank you.

    And there’s no way to stop the plugin from sending out the email?

    Do you have an estimate on when that customization option will be available?

    Since I can’t use your plugin without it, I need to know if I should be looking for something else, or if the time frame is short enough that I can wait.

    Hi,

    I also need to be able to customize the emails, to be able to use your plugin.

    I found some mail-texts in includes/class-ur-emailer.php
    Are they all placed here?

    Is there any better way you can suggest me to change the texts, rather than edit directly in includes/class-ur-emailer.php ?
    I would very much prefer not to make changes directly into the plugins.

    Thank you,
    Lene

    I have started going in this direction in functions.php; seems like working:

    class RK_UR_Emailer extends UR_Emailer {
    public $query_vars = array();
    public static function init() {
    if(‘yes’ == get_option(‘user_registration_general_setting_disable_email’)) { return; }
    add_action(‘user_registration_after_register_user_action’, array(__CLASS__,’rk_ur_after_register_mail’), 10, 3 );
    }
    public static function rk_ur_after_register_mail( $valid_form_data, $form_id, $user_id ) {

    }

    }
    remove_action(‘user_registration_after_register_user_action’,array(‘UR_Emailer’,’ur_after_register_mail’));
    RK_UR_Emailer::init();

    Hello @racekatten,

    We will update the version with email customizer feature very soon. You don’t need to change texts from the files direclty. There will be the option from the settings. Stay Updated. Until then you can use that way too.
