    It started doing the same thing on all of my forms that have a text field. The field where people can type a lot of text… “paragraph text” The field has no border around it. You can see the borders around the other fields… they’re pretty light (maybe 50% black) but you can see them. I wish there was a way to control that! I see where you can enter css class names but I don’t see anywhere to enter any css so what’s the point in that? Anyway, there should be some way to give those fields borders. It would be nice if I could control their sizes too.

    How do I get a border on my text field?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    It seems that you are using Divi Builder plugin which is overwriting Everest Forms CSS. Please, try the following custom CSS.

    #et-boc textarea {
      border: 1px solid #e5e5e5
    }

    You can change border color #e5e5e5 as your preference. You can contact respective plugin developer team for better solution.

    Let us know if there is anything else regarding our plugins.

    I am just now getting around to trying this… and it worked great. Thank You

    Is there a css that will allow me to control the borders of all entry fields? or…

    do you have a list of css appropriate names for all the possible fields? You gave me “#et-boc textarea” for the paragraph text field.

    Hi,

    You can try the CSS below.

    .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input select, .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input textarea, .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input.text, .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input.title, .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input[type=email], .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input[type=password], .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input[type=tel], .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input[type=text] {
        border-color: #999999;
    }

    Thanks, that worked with the exception of 2 fields… the ‘Number’ and the ‘Website/URL’ fields. Can you give the CSS names for them and I will add them to the CSS in my website. Like: “.et_pb_module”

    Thanks

    Hello?

    Can you give the CSS names for the ‘Number’ and the ‘Website/URL’ fields? I do not have a border on those two fields.

    This is what I have so far and it does not make a border for the Number and Website/URL fields:

    .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input select, .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input textarea, .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input.text, .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input.title, .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input[type=email], .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input[type=password], .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input[type=tel], .et-db #et-boc .et_pb_module input[type=text] {
    border-color: #003300; border: 1px solid;
    }

    #et-boc textarea {
    border: 1px solid #003300
    }
