I enter the data, I click on send, the message that the confirmation was sent by e-mail appears. However, I do not receive any e-mail and the logged-in login appears within Users in the WordPress administration. When I try to login (same user registered previously), I can not, only with administrator login. After many attempts, I discovered the problem. I’m using the WP Mail SMTP plugin so my contact form works correctly. When I changed the option to default (php), it worked as expected. May 15, 2018 at 11:25 am #2284 KarollinnyParticipant Inside this plugin, WP Mail SMTP. WP Email SMTP plugin allows you to connect any SMTP for sending emails from your WordPress site. It bypasses the normal WP mail function and sends emails using the smtp protocol of your choice. You can connect any SMTP service like Amazon SES, MailGun, SendGrid, MailJet, MailGet to send emails using them. Actually, I was already using this plugin to make my contact form work. I realized that the option I had chosen to send (contact form) would interfere with the registration form. I switched to ‘standard’ (php) and the registration form worked. I hope I have helped in some way. May 15, 2018 at 12:29 pm #2285 simeoParticipant Yes, you did. I believe it’s working using the default. Just need a few people to sign up to be sure.
