A user that was registering for my site brought it to my attention that the URL form field was requiring an “http://” in front of the domain name. If not formatted with that it would return an error. Normally this would not be much of an issue, however, I noticed that the standard WordPress profile field for URL doesn’t have the same requirement. When registering a new account within WordPress, I can simply type domainname.com and it will automatically add the “http://” after saving. It seems the “http://” format is a requirement of the User Registration plugins URL field. Is there a way to disable this requirement so that any domain name format would be accepted? We will discuss if this is achievable and may implement later on. Thanks!
